Cases to watch

FDA actions LMI is researching. A boxed warning or a recall is a reason to watch. It does not predict litigation, and LMI has not yet verified a matching injury lawsuit for any of these.

  • InjectaferBoxed warning

FDA added a boxed warning on September 1 for severe or lasting low phosphate levels and bone effects. Earlier Injectafer injury cases in Pennsylvania federal court reached a settlement fund in 2023.

    FDA safety communication

    FDA safety communication

  • Libre 3Class I recall

Certain FreeStyle Libre 3 and Libre 3 Plus glucose sensors were recalled for falsely low readings that can lead to wrong treatment decisions. The recall covers specific sensor models only.
